For 2D casts it usually takes about 30 minutes, for 3D casts it takes about an hour.

What is life casting?

Lifecasting is the process of creating a two- or three-dimensional copy of a living human's body part, through the use of molding and casting techniques. lifecasting is also practiced on living animals. The most common lifecasts are pregnant bellies, hands and feet.

Is there an age requirement for a child to get the cast?

Child has to be at least 3 days old to get a hand cast and to be three years or younger to get the feet casts. Other than that there is no age requirement.

What if my baby is uncooperative during an appointment?

I have a two year experience in life casting and I’ve been dealing with all kinds of babies and none of my customers left without getting their molds done 🙂

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept all forms of major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also have the option to use PayPal Payments.

What is the cast made of?

The cast made of strong plaster material.

When is the best time to get casting done for my baby?
 

Babies grow extremely fast that's why the sooner the better.

Is it safe for newborns?

Molding material is very soft and it’s absolutely safe for newborns.

How long does appointment last?

Do I need to schedule an appointment?

Yes, appointments are necessary. We recommend you schedule your appointment at least a couple days in advance.

How long does it take to get the finish product?

2 to 10 weeks, depending on complexity of work. 

Do you have gift certificates?

Yes, gift certificates are available.

What is you cancellation policy?

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1 day before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee of $20.00.
